1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup honey (you can substitute it for corn syrup for a firmer consistency ).
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups of cereal (you can pick your favorite cereals, our advice is to use cereals without added sugar)
1 1/2 cups sliced Medjool dates . (Protip: cool them slightly to cut them faster
1/2 cup mixed nuts (trail mix is highly recommended for the variety).

Spray the surface of your pan with cooking spray or butter.

Add the butter in a large pot at medium low/heat, the honey and the brown sugar. Once it melts turn the heat up until it bubbles. When it does, carefully remove the pot from the stove (it's melted caramel, it can burn you pretty bad) once it cools a little, add the vanilla extract (again, very carefully).

In the previously sprayed container, mix the cereal, nuts and Medjool Dates and pour the caramel little by little. Incorporate the caramel into the other ingredients. Flatten it.

Cover it with aluminium foil, let them cool. Once cool, cut them into squares and enjoy!
